THE Colonel Timothy Pickering Chapter,

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

(NSDAR or DAR), welcomes you to our website!

Our chapter was founded on April 12, 1928, by Mrs. Gertrude B. Carter with 26 charter members. Colonel Timothy Pickering was selected as the American Revolutionary War patriot the organization wished to honor. The organizational meeting was held at the Hotel Hawthorne in Salem.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month from October through May. Visitors and prospective members are welcome to attend. Please email our Regent for details.

Our chapter supports the objectives of the NSDAR:

Historic Preservation

Education

Patriotism
